I’m Pamela Shaddock and I have a passion for theatre.
Whether I’m actually on stage or being an audience member, you’ll catch me throughout southern California, acting in lead and supporting roles on such award winning stages as South Coast Repertory, Pasadena’s Boston Court or the Rubicon theatres to name a few. (Or, you’ll find me sitting in the audience cheering fellow colleagues on)!
My passion doesn’t stop with the stage. After being cast by David E. Kelley in the role of Melanie Sills on an episode of ABC’s “The Practice” when first moving to LA, I’ve since gotten to play on many Top-20 television shows, such as; Mad Men, Castle, NCIS, Southland, and House M.D.
I’ve had the pleasure of creating characters, toe to toe, with star level and other prominent actors and when performing with the likes of Sir Ben Kingsley, Sally Field and Glenn Close, as I have, one can’t help but bring their ‘A’ game.
Coupled with my BFA in acting, I’m looking forward to parlaying all this experience and “on the job” training into a series regular role on a TV drama… while being open to what the Universe has in store for me.
A native Bostonian, with Bajan and apparently Pakistani roots, my parents instilled in me a respect for people all over the world. That’s a good thing since I love to travel. I’ve toured in shows all over the great USA. I even had the pleasure of performing in China singing rock-n-roll and country western songs, totally unprepared and humbled, by the ‘rock star’ reception we received.
With a constant aim to inspire, uplift, educate, nourish, heal, empower, entertain and reflect the goodness as well as frailties of humanity through story, I look forward to the opportunity to share significant stories with you that engage and empower us all.
“True art is characterized by an irresistible urge in the creative artist.” – Albert Einstein
